I have been debating for awhile if I should start posting on Xanga again. I have decided to give it a try. Now, the question is, do I type a really long detailed post to let you all know what’s been going on in my life for the past year or just a quick post so everyone knows I am still alive? Oh, the dilemma. I guess we’ll just have to see how this goes and what ends up on here. J I have wanted to change my profile picture for quite some time, but if I did that then my name would move up to the top, and I did not want to give anyone false hope that I had posted. Haha. J October 2007: I think this picture demonstrates what was going on in my life the last time I posted. The twins were about 5 months old!
November 2007: Then I went with Mom, Dad and Kim to Michelle’s house for Thanksgiving. December 2007: Everyone in the family came home for Christmas. It was pretty much pure chaos the whole time. January 2008: In January, I drove up to Wisconsin to visit with my friend Marieke and some other friends who had flown up from Texas. Of course, I had to go over and see Greg and Julie and the kids, too, since I was so close! J ( I must not have seen Michelle this month because I do not have a picture of me with the twins!)
February 2008: This must have been a pretty boring month because I only took 5 pictures this month. I am not even in any of them!!! March 2008: For Spring Break, Kim and I drove down and visited Michelle and family. What a fun trip! It was Kim’s birthday, so of course, we had to have a party!
(Apparently, sometime in the last couple months, I got my hair cut!) April 2008: In April, my nephew, Ian, was born!!!
May 2008: In May, Michelle came up and the twins turned one and Kayla turned two. Three birthdays in one party! School ended this month, so I finished up my first year teaching Kindergarten at Emmanuel Christian Academy in Springfield! June 2008: Summer started and I headed up to Michigan to meet the newest member of Jen’s family! I spent 8 days (I think) up there hanging out with them. July 2008: In July, my friend, Erik, and I went to King’s Island. It was a Tuesday and there were NO lines. We rode every large roller coaster they had open. It was lots of fun! August 2008: My 25th birthday! School started back up this month. Mom, Trisha, and I spent some time making new decorations for my classroom, and then I spent a week putting them up! September 2008: Michelle and the kids came up for a whole week to visit! October 2008: School is definitely in full swing! I have 15 students this year which is 4 more than last year. That might not sound like a lot, but it has made a huge difference. They are definitely a more challenging group! I have started working at Old Navy in the evenings to make a little more money. It is kind of boring, but not hard at all. I think that’s about it! |
